This wholesaler of sports, carnival and holiday merchandise need an online facelift. They required a professional look that provided information on their products and services.
Design Process
The overall design needed to be simple and easy to navigate for the companies’ clients. We did not want the updated website to be overwhelming. The main goal was to lead the user to the product information. The site also needed to be adaptable on all devices using responsive design principles.
The homepage has slider was to incorporate the main 3 areas and have a CTA linking to the interior pages with a product search feature. Being they regularly have new products, the slider would also be used to announce new products.
Under the slider a few sentences of copy were added for SEO purposes. The lower content areas where used to supply information on each of the 3 areas of products then link off to the interior page.
The company about us page provides company information to new clients and provided testimonials from the satisfied clients of J. Robins. The idea was to build trust and overcome skepticism. The testimonial should provide the benefits of ordering from J. Robins.
The product page provides a search engine to narrow down the items to only the ones the customer needs to see. The faster the user sees the product and is not frustrated with the process, the faster they will complete the order!
