Dr. Jake Cramer

Advanced Care Optometry for Adults & Children

Dr. Jake Cramer graduated from Trinity College, Hartford, CT, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England Eye Institute/New England College of Optometry in Boston Mass., where he was a Clinical Teachers Assistant.

Dr. Cramer's clinical training included externships at the West Haven CT VA Medical Center and the Brighton Marine Public Health Center. Dr. Cramer's post doctorate education includes Diagnostic and Therapeutic degrees from College of Optometry at SUNY (State University of New York) and the Eye Institute at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry/Salus University. He maintains an Advanced Practice Certification for Optometry allowing him to treat eye conditions, injuries, and pathology at the highest level allowed by CT law. The Groton Eye Center was founded by Dr. Cramer and has been providing eye care to Southeastern CT for 21 years.

Dr. Christine Bartoletti, O.D.

Comprehensive Ophthamology, Refractive Surgery

Dr. Bartoletti received her undergraduate education at Hamline University in Minnesota. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry, graduating with honors. In addition to her optometry college education, she completed a one-year residency program at the Veterans Hospital in Portland, Oregon, receiving specialized training in ocular disease and geriatric care. Dr. Bartoletti has extensive experience in primary eye care, Glaucoma treatment, Diabetic eye care, Contact Lenses. Dr. Bartoletti has been providing eye care to Green Valley and Sahuarita residents for 14 years.

Optician

Jennifer has been an Optician at the Groton Eye Center for twelve years. In addition to helping patients with eyeglass frames, prescription lenses, and contact lenses, she is also the insurance and billing manager.

Ophthalmic Technician

For ten years Thomas has been an Ophthalmic Technician and front desk manager. He assists patients with their visual field tests, corneal topography, retinal photography and OCT scans, as well as advising them with their eyeglass and contact lens selections.

Optometric Technician

Lindsay has worked in the optometry field for over 25 years and uses her experience and expertise to help each and every patient. She's friendly, calm, and skilled optician with more than 25 years of experience. Lindsay will help you choose the perfect frame for your face shape and style and make sure it fits you perfectly. Lindsay is also our go-to person for adjustments, repairs, and making your glasses comfortable.

Her attention to detail ensures the smooth daily operations. Whether you are scheduling an appointment or inquiring about benefits, Donna's electric personality will brighten your day. Donna graduated from Montgomery College with an A.A.S. Degree in American Sign Language.
